Fine Art Portraits are not your typical “cheesy” smiling portraits. These are deliberately emotive,
moodier and designed to capture the more serious side of your child’s personality,
while still being relaxed, natural and not forcing expressions.

The session includes a fully styled, private studio shoot, customised to you and your child/children.
An extensive range of clothing and accessories is provided, or you’re welcome to bring your own
outfits, following consultation, should they fit the style of the session.
Guidance and direction is given for posing to ensure you are comfortable and relaxed.
Your photos are professionally edited in both colour and b/w options for you to choose from.

Suitability for this session
Not every child will be suitable for these fine art portraits.
Less mature children (under 8) may not be able to sit still
and cooperate long enough or follow posing instructions.
However, Mums and Dads are also welcome to join in to
make it a family fine art portrait where younger children can be held
if needed.
Clothing & Styling
Clothing is incredibly important to help present the style and mood for the session.
I have a range of amazing vintage style clothing (mostly for the ladies), however
if you intend to bring something along please let me know upon
booking to ensure it is suitable.
Hair & Makeup
You deserve to treat yourself to a bit of pampering before the session
so get your hair and makeup done as well.
